Bio

Mike Abrantie is an accomplished Ghanaian-American filmmaker, DJ, Visual Artist, and philanthropist, from the Southside of Chicago. He’s the co - founder of hybrid production & development company Out The Box Creative Group. His impact can be felt with his contributions in the documentary space, award winning short films, several digital series, music videos and more. He has also worked creatively, and musically, with various internationally acclaimed artists such as Burna Boy, Vic Mensa, Kwaku Owusu Achim, King Promise, Sons of Sonix, and Sarkodie, via creative direction, live performance, as well as music contribution. He defines his creative works as thoughtfully disruptive, and realistically reflective of the black experience.
